Media Management
The Media tab in Sanity Studio provides a centralized location to manage all your images and media files. This interface helps you organize, upload, and reuse media across your website.
Accessing Media Library
- Click on “Media” in the top navigation bar
- This opens the media management interface where you can:
- View all uploaded media
- Search for specific files
- Upload new media
- Organize your assets
Uploading Media
- Click the “Upload” button
- Select files from your computer
- Wait for the upload to complete
- Your media is now available for use across the site
Media Organization
Your media library supports:
- Searching by filename
- Filtering by type
- Sorting by date
- Basic file organization
Using Media in Content
To use uploaded media in your content:
- Open any content section that accepts images
- Click the image field
- Select “Browse” to access your media library
- Choose your desired image
- The selected image will be inserted into your content
Image Requirements
For optimal performance:
- Recommended formats: JPG, PNG, WebP
- Maximum file size: 10MB
- Optimal dimensions:
- Hero images: 1920px width
- Gallery images: 800px width
- Thumbnails: 400px width
